Camp Crame, Quezon City - The Chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), PDG Ronald M Dela Rosa, sworn in as Chairman of the Public Safety Mutual Benefit Fund, Inc. (PSMBFI) before other members of the Board of Trustees last August 5, 2016, at Camp Crame, Quezon City. The oath-taking ceremony marked a new helm of chairmanship for the continuing services to the public safety practitioners and members of the Association.
PDG Dela Rosa hails from the Municipality of Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur and a graduate of the Philippine Military Academy “Sinagtala” Class of 1986. Among the assignments he held were in the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Task Force (PAOCTF), Davao City Police Office, Police Regional Office 11, PNP Intelligence Group, and Directorate for Human Resource and Doctrine Development, among others. As an officer in the PNP, he is a topnotch in the field of Intelligence with 125 various medals to his name.
At present, PDG Dela Rosa leads the PNP in its fight against illegal drugs, criminality and corruption in order to provide each Filipino a safe, secured and comfortable life. He also urged the public to cooperate with the police and put to end the ills that have marred the society for a long time.
As PSMBFI Chairman, PDG Dela Rosa will continue to be attuned to the needs and concerns of its more than 157,000 members and provide them with benefits and services that they deserve.
