D. Who are not qualified to join?
- Non-Members / Inactive Members: Individuals who are not bona fide members of PSMBFI or those from non-partner agencies.
- Delinquent Borrowers: Members-borrower with outstanding past-due loan obligations
- Members with legal cases: Member-borrower with ongoing administrative or criminal cases within their respective agencies (e.g., PNP, BJMP, BFP).
- Separated Personnel: Member-Borrower who have been dismissed from service, those on AWOL status, or those who have resigned without settling existing accounts.
- Product Application Ineligibility: Applicants who fail to satisfy the specific eligibility criteria, credit standards, or the established Terms and Conditions of the applied PSMBFI loan product.
- Member-Borrowers with low take home pay: Member-Borrower whose Net Take-Home Pay (NTHP) falls below the statutory threshold of 5,100 PHP after all existing deductions.
E. How to join?
To be eligible for this promotion, members must have a successfully released loan with a Net Proceeds falling within the following tiers:

Step 1: Verify Your Eligibility
Before applying, ensure you meet the following requirements:
- Borrowing Capacity: The Member-borrower must be eligible for a net loan release within the following tiers.
- Active Membership: The Member-borrower must be a bona fide PSMBFI member in good borrower standing.
- Net Take-Home Pay (NTHP): The Member-borrower monthly take-home pay must be at least ₱5,100.
- Loan Status: The Member-borrower must not have past-due obligations.
- Legal Standing: The Member-borrower must not have any pending or ongoing administrative or criminal cases within your agency.
Step 2: Submit Your Application
Visit or contact any PSMBFI Branch or active PSMBFI Field services officers nationwide between April 1, 2026, and November 30, 2026.
- Fill out the PSMBFI Loan Application Form.
- Submit all required documentary requirements for evaluation.
Step 3: Loan Evaluation & Approval
Your application will undergo the standard PSMBFI credit evaluation and underwriting process. Once your loan is approved and released within the promo period, you are automatically qualified for the reward.
Step 4: Receive Your SM e-GC Reward
You will receive your SM e-Gift Certificate via SMS or Email within ten (10) working days from the date of your loan release. The reward amount is based on your available net loan amount

- All PSMBFI Regional Service Offices (RSO) nationwide

- By participating in this promotion, member-borrowers agree to be bound by these Official Terms and Conditions and the decisions of PSMBFI, which are final and binding in all respects.
- PSMBFI reserves the right to disqualify any member-borrowers who tampers with the loan application process, submits fraudulent or forged documents, or violates any of the promotion’s terms.
- In compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (R.A. 10173), by applying for a loan and participating in this promotion, members grant PSMBFI explicit consent to collect, use, process, and share their personal data (such as name, mobile number, and email address) for the purpose of promo administration, cross-matching, notification, and distribution of the SM e-Gift Certificates.
- Member data will be securely managed and will not be used for any third-party marketing purposes outside of this specific PSMBFI promotion without separate consent.
- PSMBFI is not responsible for any technical issues, downtime, or account suspensions related to the SM Retail Channel Merchants. Any disputes regarding the use of the e-GC at partner merchants must be directed to SM customer support.
- PSMBFI shall not be held liable for delayed or undelivered SMS/Emails due to network interruptions, incorrect contact details provided by the member-borrower, or full mobile inboxes. It is the responsibility of the member to ensure their contact details are updated upon loan application.
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
- In case of any dispute regarding the terms, the final decision shall rest with the discretion of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), with their concurrence.
